What is a Plug Socket with USB Charging?
Our USB charging sockets are available now in all ranges with power (13A) sockets. They have a fast charge rate and are a more attractive solution to having chargers or plain white plastic style sockets.
The total charging rate per USB socket is per socket ‐ this power is NOT shared between USB sockets so the charging performance is not slowed or impaired when using both USB chargers at the same time unlike many other USB charging sockets on the market today.
The superior quality USB range is crafted by hand in our UK factory and is available with black or white electrical inserts. This quality is demonstrated by the sockets coming with a 25 year guarantee against mechanical and electrical failure, giving you the confidence that these switches will last the test of time.
Our USB charging sockets are available with the following features ...
- One or two USB ports depending on plug socket configuration
- At least one tablet capable charging port
- Power output is not shared like most other USB charging sockets
- 13 Amp 3 Pin plug sockets - 250V rated
- Available with black and white electrical components
- CE tested and marked
- Conforms to BS5733:2010 + A1:2014, EN 60950-1 and BS 1363-2:1995 + A4
