We have supplied these switches to the finest Farm Houses and Country Cottages in England as well as Barn Conversions and period properties all over the UK. They have even been supplied to a landmark Castle and are used in the kitchens and other rooms at this prestigious tourist attraction.
Solid Copper
The stylish Highly Polished face plates are made from a 2mm thick sheet of Solid Copper plate. It is then cut and hand polished to give this range that high mirror shine finish that is so in vogue right now.
We then lightly lacquer them to reveal the beauty of the raw and natural metal finish that these materials possess and to protect the highly polished finish. This results in a protected face plate that only ever needs to be lightly wiped down or dusted rather than the constant polishing associated with Copper kitchenware.
The Toggle Switch plates have a Screwless face plate however the other items from this range have the traditional retaining screws to fix the face plates.
Natural Metals
We also offer both the Copper and Pewter in its Natural State; these two plates are simply cut and lightly indented on the face which leaves a plainer and more flat finish.
We then lightly polish them to reveal the beauty of the raw and natural metal finish that these materials possess.
Every plate will look different and enrich and slightly change as it ages on your wall. Over time each plate develops its own unique patina. Buying these plates is similar to buying natural stone flooring ‐ every one is unique and slightly different from the other.
