2Cs Retail to build 1,200 in-store displays

Point of sale specialist 2Cs Retail is to design and build 1,200 in store displays for Homebase stores across Britain, after being appointed by GET Plc. The displays will altogether hold over 15,000 electrical sockets and switches and will be in 350 stores across the country.

GET is a subsidiary of Schneider Electric and currently provides Homebase and B&Q with a range of electrical products including designer sockets and switches.

Paddy Lea, head of 2Cs Retail, said: “We're thrilled to be working for GET and helping improve their in store presence."

The new point of sale displays will use the existing Homebase Euro Hook system.

2Cs Retail is currently working on displays for Morphy Richards steam irons to be displayed in Robert Dyas stores throughout the UK. The company has previously created point of sale displays for the AA, BT, Stanley Tools and Binatone.

Last year 2Cs Retail made over 240 CCTV and intruder alarm displays for Micromark which were installed in every Focus DIY store nationwide.

The company has been operating since 1986 and has a current staff of 25 designers, technicians, marketing specialists and support staff. 2Cs Retail has offices throughout the UK, in London, Newmarket and Ipswich.
