What is a RJ11 Socket?

RJ11 Network Sockets are also known in the USA as Telephone Sockets or Ethernet Sockets. These sockets are used when wiring certain types of telephone equipment in the USA. Short for Registered Jack – 11, with a four or six wire connector RJ11 sockets are also used to connect some types of local-area networks (LANs)although RJ45 connectors are more common.

Each socket has 6 terminals on the back that wire via a push IDC terminal for which you will use the IDC tool provided. They are available in single or double versions by request.

We recommend 25mm deep wall boxes for mounting our RJ11 Network Sockets.

If you require any advice or assistance please call our sales team on 01926 289 289.
